Sweater Weather
Hello Friends! For those of you not from the north, we have recently been in the middle of a winter wonderland up in Minnesota! It truly is perfect sweater weather for us, which got us thinking about some of the best ways to pair your sweaters with your wigs. We had some fun in the snow yesterday, enjoy!
Do you have a long style that you don't want to fuss with all day? A simple up-do looks elegant and cozy at the same time. Try pairing it with a mock neck sweater. Here, I am wearing the Raquel Welch Spotlight in Shaded Iced Pumpkin Spice.
You really can't go wrong with a pixie cut in the winter, it keeps your head warm and you deal with no snarling or static! You can pair this style with a turtle neck sweater to stay warm! Here Wendy is wearing the Raquel Welch Winner in Iced Java.
Lengths just above your shoulder are manageable and super stylish. We decided to pair them with a sweater that starts right where your hair ends. Here we have Tawni wearing the Raquel Welch Editor's Pick in Shaded Iced Cappucino and Erin in the Estetica Jamison in Chocolate Smoke.
You can also pair a bob with a scarf for minimal tangling and static. Plus, look how cute it is! Here is Tawni in the Jon Renau Alison in color 6F27.
Lastly, we have a trick for you! Have an older wig? Maybe the hairline doesn't look realistic or the roots do not look very flattering on you. When in doubt, put a hat on it! I am a natural brunette so normally the Jon Renau color 613/24B would not look very natural at the roots, but all I did was put a hat on and I am ready to rock the non-rooted blonde, plus my head will stay extra warm on those negative degree days! This style is the Jon Renau Ariana.
Now that we've had our fun outside we are going to snuggle up by the fire, carefully of course😉 and watch the snow fall in our cozy sweaters. Thank you for reading with us, let us know what your favorite sweater weather styles are below!
